This is a photo of a friend who died a couple of weeks ago. Dith Pran was the person the movie "The Killing Fields" was about. I got to know Pran a couple of years ago when he was a NY Times photographer and I was a reporter for the Ocean County Observer. We worked a couple of the same stories and helped each other out. He was a decent person who suffered much, but you'd never have known it from talking with him. Here's an idea - borrow the video from the library and watch it.
